Bloomsburg University’s Institute for Interactive Technologies (IIT) has worked with a multitude of organizations over the past 20 years, advancing the relationship between technology, education and training. The faculty, interns, and graduate assistants have been involved with online training design and development since the inception of the World Wide Web. This grounded knowledge of online instruction coupled with our Instructional Systems Design process, position the IIT as a unique organization capable of providing a number of services to government, academic, and for-profit organizations.
Our experiential learning model provides graduate assistants the opportunity to work directly with outside organizations through the design and development of online training and instruction. Under the mentoring of experienced Instructional Designers and Faculty, graduate assistants are exposed to the entire ISD process from ideation to implementation. The blend of applying theories, communication practices and development skills make students of IIT well-rounded and ready. Featured partnerships and project descriptions are listed below.
